Station 18: Sogo (Causeyway Bay)

Sogo Hong Kong is one of the largest Japanese-style department stores in Hong Kong.It has two stores in  Hong Kong.The Causeway Bay store on Hong Kong Island, also known colloquially as "Jumbo Sogo," opened in 1980.


With a total of 12 floors (including two basement levels) and a GFA of about 370,000 sq.f., it is Hong Kong's largest individual department store. Due to its prime location and size, Sogo Store became an island landmark shortly after its opening and this position only got strengthened over the years.SOGO stores offer a wide selection of products including renowned European brands of men's and ladies' fashions, skin care & cosmetics, jewelries, leather series, electrical appliances and home supplies and there are also supermarkets at the stores. 

However, Sogo Store is actually more than a department store. What better describes it is the 'one-stop' lifestyle store.
